The Organizational Paper helped guide to see how this event is important to the organization that is running the event. This was seen by finding their mission statement and linking it to the purpose of the event. After discovering what type of event is being run, the stakeholders were identified and determined either internal or external, depening on the impact the event has on each group/individual.

Upon completing the SWOT Analysis, it was easy to identify what areas of the event/event process needed additional focus and attention in order to improve on the weaknesses and threats that were clear. By creating a SWOT Analysis, it gives us the opportunity to focus on areas that may be detrimental to the succes of our event.

Expenses
Income
Profit-Loss Summary

By laying out specific event components and disecting why they are important, it was easy to decipher was steps are necssary in completing the goals that are within each component. Keeping a customer focused mentality allows us to create the maximum experience wanted by the event goers. We must remember, the customer always comes first.

Once the budget was placed from the word document to the spread sheet, it was adjusted and divided into the necesary categories according to revenues and expenses. Spread sheets are extremely beneficial in seeing where the money is going, what sub category needs the most focus, and help base next years event on the information gathered from each line item.

Before creating the expected budget in an excel spread sheet, the budget explanation sheet allowed us to see exactly where the money was going, and what component was consuming the most amount of money. By balancing the expenses and revenues before making it final, this allowed for some beneficial changes to the oringnal plan in order to remain within the budget while still meeting the desired components.

The Event Description Sheet helped give an overview of the entire event that you and/or your team are planning. Each component of the event is identified and is used as a benchmark in the beginning phases of the events framework as a whole. It helped get a visual image of who will be there, where it will be held, when it will be held and how will be sought out.
